Hello, I thought it would be nice if you could put a face to the name. I am Katrina Spence, a curly hair specialist.
I started my hairdressing journey in 2005 and moved back to Northern Ireland in 2022 after living in England for close to a decade.
I wanted to bring my curly hair knowledge to Northern Ireland.
I am extremely passionate about textured hair and want to help others embrace their natural texture.
I look forward to having you in my chair.

I booked my first ever curly cut and colour with Katrina and I had a fantastic experience. She is very knowledgeable and fantastic with curly hair. Katrina spent a lot of time talking to me to understand my current routine, what id like to achieve and any worries or concerns I have. Then she came up with a custom plan of how to achieve that. The cut and colour is the best cut and colour I’ve ever had! All the tips and tricks are very valuable so I can take care of my hair at home. Super impressed and looking forward to my next visit.
I have never ever walked away from a hair appointment so well educated and informed about my own hair… I have learnt so so much.. the womans knowledge is insane and not only did i get the perfect cut for my hair type ( for the first time in 29 yrs) I have the tools and knowledge to go ahead and do it for myself. I am beyond delighted with the service Katrina provided! I hadn’t been for a haircut for around 2 years due to lack of curly hair experts in the area, so my curls were in dire need of some TLC. I walked out of that salon feeling listened to, cared for, and generally like I’ve found ‘The One’! (fellow curly girls will understand!) I usually feel so awkward and anxious when I’m in the chair but with Katrina it was so chill and natural. I can’t wait to see the places Katrina takes me on my natural hair journey 🧡
My second time visiting Katrina she is a font of knowledge were curly hair is concerned. Takes time to ask what problems you are having and giving advice on what to try at home. Would highly recommend.
Katrina made me feel so welcome and was so receptive to my ideas for my hair, as I was struggling with excessive frizz and postpartum regrowth. She talked me through every step of the curl-by-curl cut process and I feel much more confident tackling my hair at home. I am so pleased with the end result!
